Rules For Worry-Free Living
- Praise and thank the Lord for all things and all circumstances in life - good or bad. We can change bad things into blessings when we praise and thank God. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Psalms 100)
- Learn to trust in the Lord completely. Focus on blessings - no pity parties. (Proverbs 3:5,6; Philippians 4:19)
- Saturate your heart and your life with the Word. Meditate upon His word day and night. (Colossians 3:16; 2 Timothy 2:15)
- Transfer ownership of all of your posessions, all of your family, and all of yourself to God. (1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Peter 4:10; 1 Samuel 1:27-28)
- Smile all of the time, and laugh as often as possible. Radiate your joy and happiness. ( Philippians 4:4; Proverbs 17:22)
- Learn to love unconditionally and forgive completely. ( 1 John 4:7-12; Ephesians 4:32; Matthew 6:15)
- Make prayer a priority of life. (1 Peter 5:6,7; Philippians 4:6)
- Learn to be content. Possess the peace of God. Accept what circumstances life has brought you. (Philippians 4:11-12)
- Become an encourager of all people. Share only the good with others. (Galatians 6:22; Romans 8:28, 35-39)
- Seek ye first the Kingdom of God. Take responsibility for what you can be. (Matthew 6:33)
- Have a great day everyday. (Psalms 118:24; Philippians 3:13, 14)
- Change and improve your attitude. (Psalms 51:10; Proverbs 4:23; Matthew 5:8)
- Practice the Golden Rule in your attitude and in every aspect of your life. This is not just a suggestion, it is a command! (Matthew 7:12; Luke 6:17-36)
- Practice the Presence of God always. (Philippians 4:5; Hebrews 13:5)
- Focus your heart and your life in heaven. (John 14:1-3; 2 Timothy 4:6-8)
