So, the current US president, promised hope and change. Lets review, a year and a half later where we are under his leadership and with the promises of hope and change.

Revealing our nuclear arsenal to the world to be more "transparent"

Passing a bill that violates the freedoms of private businesses and furthering a huge burden on the backs of the few of us left that have jobs and can pay taxes

Iran holding US citizens hostage, 7 months later, parents finally able to see their children, legally. And, as the LAW says, female heads were covered. Held in prison on charges, due to a lack of papers in part, as the IRAN law dictates. Very little response from the white-house, while Iran continues to be defiant about pursuing nuclear programs. Iran is also blocking facebook and other websites, again because of religious beliefs.

As of today, there are 2000 gallons of crude oil spilling into the gulf. This was from an agreement negotiated between the Obama administration, MMS, and BP. Notice the Bush administration was not involved in this agreement, however, Obama does blame the Bush administration. Someone please explain this to me, as well as why there is no media coverage of this negotiation and there is little coverage on the amount of campaign contributions made to the Obama campaign by BP. Secretary of Interior was interviewed recently and discussed oversight and reform of policies and the like, but also gave a figure of roughly 36000 wells had been drilled in the Gulf without an incident, which is a smart comment considering the ban on off-shore drilling that is imminent.

Obama also did not visit the area until May 2. He actually has not seemed overly concerned, nor has BP. This is a very good idea that there was no surprise in this disaster. This lack of action and reaction by both the company responsible and the administration who negotiated this agreement should say a lot by itself. Karl Rove commented on that agreement stating "the rig was approved without the appropriate studies being completed".

Viacom has gotten some heat because of a South Park episode that poked fun of Muslims, but displayed him, not in a physical form which the belief is this is a lot more than offensive, rather the worst thing in the world you can do punishable by death! However, south-park continually ridicules Jesus Christ, and all other religions. There is a new series coming out on Comedy Central called "JC" which is a cartoon depiction of Jesus Christ, in a very humanistic way, rejected by father sort of way. Jesus Christ will be a son moving to new York to escape His Father's shadow.

Pakistan, among the other great human gestures, has blocked access to Facebook, stating there is an offensive group that is blasphemous towards the alleged prophet Muhomed, I mean Mohammed.

Speaking of Muslim, the new Miss USA came from Michigan. She is being claimed as the first "arab-american", which is actually false as that honor belongs to "Julie Hayek" who actually is a Christian and touted herself as an American. Wonder why this is a little known fact which I am sure has nothing to do with her being a Christian or having a more Americanized name. Miss Rima Fakih, is Muslim, migrant from Lebanon, and funded by her Shiite relatives heavily involved in Hezbollah, one of which was a martyr for the cause. Donald Trump also has expanding business interests in the middle east according to some reports.In any case, Miss Julie Hayek is actually not arab- American at all, technically being half Czech and half German

The new Miss Muslim USA also had the very distinct honor of winning "miss stripper 2007", a radio-station (mojo in the mornings) contest for listeners which feature strippers teaching others how to strip. She didn't actually strip, but learned all of the other tools necessary and used in that profession. Ill let your moral compass guide your opinions accordingly on that one. Does "Miss America" represent America and American values?

"The Mexicans need to be recognized by the US for their contributions to the US" (said after making remarks about migrants, illegal's) said President Calderon (Mexico). The AZ immigration law is "discriminatory". So, this president is saying our country needs to treat his country's citizens better? This is the same country that has its own share of immigration problems, drug cartel, kidnapping our US citizens, as well as human trafficing and murder of US citizens. Compare our law to Mexicos law and ENFORCEMENT.  Lets also remember the Arizona law enforces the federal law, not changes or does things more stringent.

The Mexico president, is condemning the STATE of ARIZONA, a country in the UNITED STATES, for a law passed, as well as saying we need to recognize those Mexicans for their great contribution to the US. This brought applause by lawmakers in a standing ovation. Recognize the mexicans??? Let me show you part of Mexico's immigration law:

• Under Article 123 of the General Population Act, illegal immigration is an offense punishable by up to two years in prison and a fine of up to 5,000 pesos, or about $450. Typically, any crime with a punishment of a year or more is considered a felony.
• Article 118 of the act says foreigners who are deported and then later attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be punished with up to 10 years in prison.
• Under Article 73, local police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities when asked to help enforce the nation's immigration laws.
• As set forth in several articles of the act, immigrants are admitted into Mexico according to their potential to "contribute to the national progress" and must have the income needed to support themselves.
• Article 9 of the constitution says only citizens may assemble to "take part in the political affairs of the country." Under Article 33, noncitizens "may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country."

I found it interesting the Mexican national anthem was played, with words, before ours after his arrival at the white house. However the look of contempt and disgust on Obama's face was equal for both. And on that note, all over the news is the second grader "my mom said that, I think that she says that, um, Barack Obama is taking everybody away that doesn't have papers. But, my mom doesn't have any papers." The spin by Obama's wife was "that something we need to fix and we are working on that". Smells like amnesty to me. This has been played so many times today, "aww that poor child who will lose its mommy". Also, lets not forget the Prime Minister of Israel, Obama made him wait for over an hour as he dined with his family, yet had a state dinner with Calderon. I get the sense that there is more going on behind the scenes with the Obama administration and Calderon. Obama stated yesterday " [Felipe Calderon] was the first country leader I met after being elected". He further went on to blame the US and the ban being lift on assault weapons in 2004 to the increase in crime and violence in his country. So, his migration problem, and our immigration problem is our fault but we shouldn’t do anything about it as he is fighting for "more rights for the Mexicans"

Than CNN had a republican senator and a democratic senator on. The dem got about a minute and a half going on about 5 million children who's parents were not here legally that would become broken families from their parents of 13 million that are illegal (still haven't finished the math on that one). Than the republican got about 10 seconds, made one point, before being cut off "I want to give <dem> a chance to respond to that point". Talk about skewed! Aww, the poor children. What ever happened to the days of consequences. Speaking of consequences…

So LA, a city still technically in the US has staged a cute little boycott against AZ for this bill (a state in the same country, the US). So much for our unity (how is that hope and change working in the Western part of the US). Does this make you mad? It should.

However, AZ has stated unless LA gets some sense, they will stop sending power, which accounts for roughly 25% of the power to LA. We are now fighting among ourselves. This is a VERY loud message. Are you mad yet? You should be.  Speaking of which, getting back to Calderon.. He made a couple of statements that alarm me. "I fully respect any country to enforce it's own law, but what we need to do is to fix a broken immigration system". In his criticism of the Arizona law, it was another standing ovation! Criticism of the US brings US lawmakers to their feet in support by applause!  Are you mad yet? You should be. I don’t recall asking for Mexico's help, but than again, I don’t remember a time in our modern history not being a leader.

Iran has detained three of our citizens who are alleged to be spies and traitors. This has been going on for almost a year, 6 months into the process. Iranian citizens in US custody, probably at Gitmo, will most likely be released for these hikers. Either way, the Obama has done very little to assist. We come down hard on Israel, but leave, by and large, the Islamic states alone.

A French student was arrested for similar reasons, which resulted in a convicted Iranian assassin to be exchanged for this French national. Its been implied that Iran wants these 7 nationals we have in custody for our three hikers, which we haven't confirmed we astually do, but Iran stated we "detained them in a 3rd world country".

Lets continue our journey further east. North and South Korea still are not getting along. South Korea announced this morning they have proof that it was North Korea that used a torpedo to sink a naval ship of theirs. North Korea has responded and said if they keep making accusations, let alone retaliate, they will declare war. Time is ripe people....

According to the Department of Labor, new unemployment claims have increased by 25000, over the previous week. This week is significant as it is an indication of seasonal workers.

Unemployment for ages 20-24 years old is at 17.2%, double what it was in 1997 and well over the national average. This is the college graduate age group. So much for job and education stimuli. A college degree does you no good when there are no jobs available! Duh stupid! The rate at the end of April 2010 was 9.5%. The rates during the Bush years were:

Notice the doubling, practically over Bush's highest level in 8 years in just two years under Obama and also the steady increase from 2008 (when new majority took over house and senate). However, Obama's most famous red-herring is its "Bush's fault". This is a terrible president with his own agenda. Speak out about your leaders, call out your representatives, but insure you have the facts. There has been fault by both sides of the aisle, no doubt, but current state affairs can not be continually laid on the feet of the former administration. Does a leader stand up and take charge or sit around, whine, and say "but he started it!"? Bush also had a real war to deal with, major national disaster, and the site of a brand new MUSLIM mosque, "ground zero" the site of the worst domestic attack in the United States. 911, for those of you that seem to have forgotten…

The country is going downhill rapidly. The economy is suffering, getting worse, as jobs are being farmed out, even by our own federal government. The democrats and republicans have bantered all day, the republicans have stated and suggested numerous cuts to the budget to bring SPENDING under control, while Democrats have not disagreed, per se, but did what they are best known for; Deflect by placing blame, and changing the subject.

There seems to be a growing forced acceptance of all aspects of the Muslim religion by other countries, and more restrictions with respect to Christian beliefs, inside of our own country. For example a man was recently arrested in NY for reading the bible. We have restrictions because other countries say we must. Who is driving the bus here folks. Time to take a stand, fight, and do your part as a patriot. The time is now. There are many things that are going on inside our borders and around the world, that will have a tremendous impact on our wallets, industries, and our freedoms. This is happening right before our very eyes. The state of our economy in our country today was due to the housing industry collapse, followed by mortgage industry collapse.

These were from bills passed by a liberal house and senate or bills led by liberals. Very poor fiscal policies and a lack of fiscal accountability has contributed to a high unemployment rate. At the current rate of government debt, our commitment to China and other countries continue to rise, but we can somehow expand our federal government. So, as usual, with liberal philosophies taxes are going to rise, unemployment has risen, government spending has risen, government size as risen, more divide has occurred within and between religion and political sides. Divide and conquer.

Sadly, the current US president, during his one-term as a senator was the most liberal, beating out even a Kennedy, but is also very heavy-handed, has complete disregard for the will of the people, and lacks transparency that he promises. He continues to have very unprofessional behavior by making childish snide remarks against any and all that oppose him. For example to a request to play golf with Rush Limbaugh, he said "he can play with himself". At the White House correspondent's dinner quipped that the GOP is the "notorious GOP" and to Michael Steele he called him "bro". These are rap and hip-hop terms found and used widely predominately by blacks. He has made comments that "the party of no, wants you to not have healthcare, lose your jobs". He is a great campaigner… Read some of the Sal Alinksy tactics, that is exactly what got him here. Than, rather than the conservatives banning together, we are having little parties and little groups, causing even further divide. Sadly, these little parties as part of a massive movement are angry republics and independents with no political experience but finally tired enough to get off of their lazy bums, turn off the TV and finally decide to actually do something other than whine and complain. If we could get all the conservatives working together…

Times are changing and it is our duty and responsibility to stand-up and use our collective voice. This is our country and the US constitution specifically spells out our power and the government's purpose. If you have not read it yet, its a good read, may open your eyes a bit. We need to stop being lazy, we need to stop complaining and blogging, and actually get involved in our political party (not the "movement" but the actual political party), talk with our representatives. We need to educate ourselves and others on voting, make sure people turn out to vote. We need to get rid of those who are NOT representing us and vote in those that do. If there are no qualified candidates, than lets recruit some that are. Instead of going to little parties or protesting, perhaps put that energy into the party and bring forth change that is needed that made you angry about. Help recruit candidates.
